Forage & function.
Nestled in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont, NoCo Handcraft is a family endeavor whose focus is on the beauty of sustainable living and the practices that support it- growing and sourcing local textile materials, gardening, preserving, making, mending, and being content with less. We’re dedicated to creating community, to sharing skills and kindness, and to connecting people to the earth and each other.
about
Hello! I am Diana, a public school health and functional arts educator, as well as a teaching textile artist on the East Coast. My areas of concentration are non-fugitive natural dyes, sewing, knitting, culinary arts, and costume-making. I am particularly passionate about delivering trauma-informed arts education, navigating the complexities of handcraft for people with disabilities, and engaging youth in activities that blend both science and art.
